This is excellent shot,i think its the best ive seen from the wreck,i musst visit there sometime,I was in whitby monday night,just wassnt sure where to park to walk down the cliff? Anyway iam giving this my user Award. Stunning detail..

Hi Leigh. Can I be a pain and say I'd have preferred a slower shutter speed on this? I think the water has gone a bit of a flat grey and a few swirling waves might have added a lot of drama. I do like the composition and the water around the wreck though Smile

I love the sky and the clarity of this image but I agree with Den, some water movement would be a nice bonus.

That will be a faster shutter speed then Mr B Smile

A striking shot, with great movement in the sky. I think it works well without the tide being higher, as the foreground rocks have a lovely texture to them.

Well captured. As someone who managed to capture the wreck surrounded by water, it's not something I would recommend. Its lethal clambering over the rocks.

P.S. This would look good in mono too
