This is a really nice pic with the mountains in the background, and a good mono conversion. One small point is I think its a little dark in the bottom left corner, and a little to dark down the right hand side. But having said that its a terrific pic well taken, and gets my vote

Terrific perspective and somewhat menacing with the dark foreground and the observatory looming over the wide countryside. I like that effect and it draws your eye right to the sky and the mountains in the distance. Works for me.
