Jacaranda Morning

By steve neil
Please view the large pano version if you can.

Had to get up before dawn to get this shot - unfortunatly I'm not a morning person so what with jamming the film and getting all my settings wrong its a mircle I got this shot! It has inspired me to try again though Smile

The camera used is a Widelux 1500 which has a rotating 150 degrees lens (hence the sweeping look) - it takes 120 film and I scan them myself. Having only ever used digital before I'm enjoying the experience of using a film camera.

Lovely image - that sweeping effect is well suited to this image - really nice scene and the hot air balloon really adds to this - very nice
