Hi Steve, finally had chance to look at your p/f in more detail. Your landscapes/seascapes are really good, strong compositions and great use of light. I think I've voted/commented on most of them as they were posted since I joined this site. But you're also not afraid of trying other things and doing them very competently. A pleasure to peruse, with more to come I hope.
Regards,
Dave

Some absolutely gorgeous images! BTW, I don't know if you've seen, but I added one of the originals of that HDR'd seascape for you since you mentioned ;) cheers, Beverly

Thank's for the comment on my first image posting, much appreciated - been looking at your images - wow!!! love the pastel ones especially - how do you get that almost 'unreal' texture on them? Well done and thanks again.

I took a look at your website, Steve, very impressive work. My favourites are the Pick District images, make me want to visit that area even more... I read about the car crash and I admire your perseverance in photography afterwards (I had one, too, last year, but was lucky enough to come out unscathed)
regards, Bruce

Absolutely stunning set of images. Having spent some chilly mornings on Curbar Edge I know how hard it is to do justice to the beautiful scenery...but you've managed to capture it perfectly.

Thanks Carol - we did indeed meet at the Stannage Edge meeting. If I remember right you were just starting out with your 40D. Looks like you are putting it to excellent use!

Hi steve
I love your portfolio,it's the kind of stuff I will be working towards taking by summer.
I have the 40D and the Sigma 10-20.They work together very well dont they?
I'm still on a learning curve with mine as I'm new to this type of camera having come from camedia 4000 and casio 1050 compact.
Lots to learn yet, perhaps I can pick your brains for help if I ge tstuck?
Thanks for your comments on "kids."
