Home Studio

By SteveBaz

I’ve been inspired by the quality of the portraiture shown on EPZ & wanted to have a go myself.

I finally persuaded my wife to ‘sit’ (at huge cost!) in a hastily made ‘home studio’

Studio: Our conservatory
Background: A piece of ‘borrowed’ black curtain lining
Lighting: A combination of 3 home standard lamps

This is the first time Jean has ‘modelled’ & hopefully, with your help & comments, I can improve to a standard that will give Jean confidence to sit again

Comments & guidance welcome

Thanks for looking

great 1st attempt on both point worth considering....eye contact is a great starting point...not just for the finished image but it gets a new model used to treating the camera as a friend....oh and 99 times out of a 100 they need to be sharp
