Berry Monsters

Berry Monsters
posted for Saturday Shadows...

The berries are hanging from a Solomon's Seal---Monsters are shadows on or from hosta leaves

I thank you all for your wonderful comments for the Mantis. I was out today and saw him again-- He has moved to another conifer---I told him he was famous!

Special thanks to Jasonrlw, Peter from HandlerStudio, Moira, Marktc and the Lonely_Oryx for their much appreciated User Awards for "Hello."

I have had Solomon's Seal growing in my garden for years but have never seen berries like these on them, as the plants are usually destroyed by Solomon's Seal Sawfly larvae long before they can reach this state.
