La Nga is a floating village on Ho Tri An lake in the province of Dong Nai. The village float on a huge reservoir 45 miles (73km) North of Ho Chi Minh City. The inhabitants built their floating houses on the lake and make a meagre living from aquaculture. Itís a hard life!

I think there is a system where you pull the washing back to you in order to pick your clothes.
