My youngest daughter spotted this lonesome Egyptian Goose by the canal, while she was going to work on the bus.

Today we decided to walk along the canal and see if we could spot it. We walked from Halberton to the car park and there it was beside the canal, enjoying the sunshine and preening.

I've seen a pair on the River Avon between Tewkesbury and Twyning and you often get them visit Slimbridge so they do get around a bit!
