Bird brain

By stevebidmead
Iím fed up with posting flower shots so heres something different for the weekend.

I was on an underground train the other day and I overheard two girls talking and one told the other she was a bird brain. Now thatís an expression I havenít heard for years and it got me thinking as to where the expression originated. This is the result.

It will certainly teach me not to listen to other peopleís conversations in future.

Superb production, Just love it Smile

Not entirely sure where the saying originated, But it might have something to do with birds having small brains compared to other species.

What a fun picture, extremly creative with a real good play on words.
No idea where this expression came or originated from, like I would love to know where the expression 'bee's knees' comes from as I think it could suit my thoughts about this image of yours.

I learned a new word yesterday from 2 nine year olds, apparently emo people, are the ones who are emotional, apparently her friends mate was an emo,
you learn something everyday
