Took this at Stratford-upon-Avon butterfly farm, great place with a really nice, natural environment. Unfortunately, the wife had liberated my 50mm so I was left struggling a bit with my kit lens, which left me shooting at f/8 to get anything like decent sharpness!

Despite being there to shoot the butterflies, I think this moth (well at least I think it is, it wasn't on their ID chart) was one of my favourite shots as it seemed a bit more unusual. Shot at f/8, 1/500 ISO100, in aperture priority with one stop of under exposure.

Beautiful colours! I think the rule of thumb is that butterflies rest with their wings upwards, whereas moths don' I assume that this must be a moth Grin
