Trefor, North Wales (Colour)

Taken late in the day as the sun was getting low at Trefor, North Wales. I had to set the ISO to 50 and have as small an aperture as possible to maintain some movement in the sea (I have since purchased some Lee ND grads ). I bracketed 1 stop either side and then blended the image in CS3 to maintain the detail in the sky, taken with a tripod,

This is the original colour version of the previously posted B & W.

Very nice. Great detail. As a matter of interest, if you bracket, is there a need to use filters? I thought this was why you bracket? I use photomatix and found using filters when attempting an hdr didn't give as good a result. John

Hi John,
Thanks for you comments. The main reason I wanted to use an ND filter in this shot was to allow me to slow down the exposure to give a bit more movement in the waves - great portfoloio of yours
