Red Crested Pochard

Red Crested Pochardas you know yourself this shot is very under exposed and you are loosing a lot of detail a little bit of an adjustment to the shadows and high lites in photoshop i think would just add a little more to the shot the focous is spot on where needed the eye is nice and sharp and nice catch light. shoting in these sunny conditions is not easy when your subject is into the sun try using a bit of fill flash that may help.

Indoor Flower.

Indoor Flower.hi scoff,
The question asked was is it worth it?
My answer is yes !
it has had 37 views and 27 unique views and what surprises me most is there is only 1 comment and 7 votes, a comment good or bad even without a vote can be more constructive than a click
so to be constructive here i go
it is good to see a write up on how the shot was achieved it shows how much was put into achieving the final image and from reading it was not just a point and shot a lot of thought went into the shot.
the composition of the shot is really good scoff left to right and plenty of space around the head of the flower and a great back ground.
now I'm only being constitutive scoff "say it as you see it" the dof is way out no sharp focus on the head of the flower and a little blown out and lack of colour and the edges of the leaves are a bit over exposed.
but as i said the thought that went into the shot is what counts if we don't get it right the first time its nice if people on the site tell us were we have gone wrong we can all learn by our mistakes.
as your quote on your pf "photography is a never ending journey"
