One thing I notice Steve is if you had swiveled your body slightly to the right it would have moved the house along the horizon to the left, if you had moved until it was a third in it would have made for a stronger composition.

It is usually best compositionally to have the horizon on a third too, that is either a third or two thirds of the image taken up by the sky.

A great improvement on the last one so you are learning already matey.

Hi Steve,

Looks much better to me, did you use the grad as a mask?

Just noticed your Name , do you write it each time? and do you know it is very easy to turn it into a brush in PS

Take care

Another lovely shot Steve, the colours are just so warm and subtle. I still feel that it is slightly underexposed and as Gary says if only you had swung round to the right just a little. Having said that, rules are there to be broken and the house in the right balances off with the grasses in the bottom left. I have brought the exposure up a little more, cropped a bit off the sky and brought the left in as far as the big clump of grass. I have also removed a couple of dust spots:.

Nice simple scenic image. Better than mk 1. Comment on f22 remains the same.
