I too can see the. monster. spitting out the lightening bolt, amazing shot , would like to know how long you set your exposure for 30 seconds??

Hi Walt, you are right this was a 30 second exposure (ISO 160, f5.6, 16mm), 30sec set in manual with a locked electronic release (cable release with the shutter button locked), also the camera was in 'continuous shooting mode', then I just left the camera on it's own to take continuous 30 sec exposures and hoped for the best, cheersSmile
