Derwentwater Jetty

By stevemelvin
Taken a couple of weeks ago, a little while after dawn - although you couldn't see the sun! Smile It was a very grey morning, let's say.

Have opted for a sepia treatment as this seems to work well with the atmosphere of the shot. Have uploaded the straight B&W version also, for comparison purposes.

All comments/criticisms very welcome.

Both are magic. I prefer (just marginally V2). John

Straight B & W has more impact for me.

The sepia version adds another level of interest and a softer atmosphere which really suits the calm conditions seen in the image.
