Bird on a Wire

By SteveMoulding
Our nesting Blue Tits have been very busy collecting caterpiller's for their young. I didn't realise how many caterpiller's there are around, must be a bumper crop. I have taken many photo's of them but here is just a couple, I hope you like them.

Many appologies for the lack of comments yesterday, although I did try to leave votes. My hands were badly swollen, especially the right, from an allergic reaction from a couple of insect bites I received whilst out with my camera. It became very painful to write/type after a short time. The doctor has put me on some pills to bring down the inflamation and sort out the infection. The down falls of wildlife macro photography I suspect. My hands are a little better today but it still has taken me over an hour to write this, lol.

Thanks very much for all the C&C's on my latest, every one means a lot to me.

Steve.

I quite agree about there appearing to be a bumper crop of worms/maggots for the birds. I have been watching some Reed Buntings this last couple of days-- they were feeding young and it was nonstop with male and female. Almost like a conveyor belt. Perhaps you will take a look.
I do hope your hands are getting better. Cant think of anything worse.
