Thanks for all the best wishes, I had my day off and got out with the camera on Friday but had a few disappointments. Firstly the lack of birds around at Woods Mill (the feeding station feeders empty didn't help) and the amount of activity clearing undergrowth was a second factor. This work is vital to manage the enviroment but I wish it hadn't been on that particular day. I eventually gave up and took the trip over to Arundell WWT in the afternoon.
I managed to get a few fairly decent shots but found a couple of problems with the camera, not focusing properly and the exposure slightly off. I think I must have pressed a button somewhere without realising it.
A bad workman always blames his tools, my Dad used to say. That aside I enjoyed myself, even if I didn't get the quality of shots I wanted or see the Water Rail.
I wish I had known some of you guys were visiting the WWT at Arundel, Saturday, I might have been able to rearrange things and got to meet with you, you could have given me a few pointers. Hope to meet you next time, just let me know, always keen to meet other EPZ'ers.
Today's upload is just a quicky taken on Friday at Arundel. I hope you like him, honest opinions please.
Many thanks for all the C&C's all are very much appreciated.
