My 1st Treecreeper

By SteveMoulding
My very 1st Treecreeper. I had seen them before once but this time I had my camera.
I had a few hours to spare yesterday and came to an on the spot, last minute decision to go over to Arundel on the off chance of seeing the infamous Water Rail. Sadly I didn't, but I did capture this beautiful little bird and also saw the GSW as well, so all was not lost. I haven't finished downloading all my pics yet so here's hoping there are some good ones.
I also had the pleasure of meeting Kev (Dinney) on my way around.
All in all, the day turned out rather well.
I hope you like this one.
Many thanks again for all the C&C's on my uploads. Catch you all later.
Steve.

Great shot. Worth going on the long term search for a Water Rail if you can find shots like this on the way.

The detail is spot-on with this. Sadly we no longer get these little visitors as none of our trees here are mature enough. Used to see them regularly at the farmhouse where we had huge beech trees.

A brilliant shot! You showed me the photo when we had a chat in the bird hide on Wednesday and it really does look superb! I did get a similar shot of the treecreeper but I don't think mine is as good as yours. Smile I tried to get another shot yesterday but the little bird wasn't there this time. Well, maybe next time!

What a great capture, Steve, I know how hard these are to take. They scuttle up the treetrunks and hardly ever keep still. Excellent.

Good shot of a difficult to capture bird, always seem to scurry around the other side of the tree.
