Eider (Head) Down

By SteveMoulding
An Eider Drake just about to make his distinctive call. It was a very bright sunny day and hence some burn out on the whites. As you will know it's not easy with black and white birds but I keep trying and maybe one day I will succeed.
I hope you like him.
Many thanks for all the c&c's on my recent uploads, they are all very much appreciated. Hopefully one day, with your help, I might actually become a half decent wildlife photographer, here's dreaming.
Enjoy the rest of lovely weekend. I won't have any chance of getting out with my camera but I hope you all do.
Best wishes,
Steve.

These are wonderful ducks Steve and as you rightly say they do have a very distinctive call. Excellent shot.

A lovely shot, but if you used RAW you'd be able to get the detail in the highlights. Smile
