A beautiful and very fast falcon. This was taken during a display flight at the International Bird of Prey Centre in Newent, a very worthwhile visit. You can easily spend a whole day there and more. Excellent displays and beautifully laid out.
Many thanks for the C&C's on all my uploads, they are very much appreciated.
This is quick upload today in my lunchbreak. I have to cut and run. I will, as ever, try and catch up with you all later.

Great shots, both of them Smile You did well to get a decent shot of him flying towards you, they are a lot harder to get than they look!

V1 is totally amazing and must have relied considerably on an ultra fast bit of timing. V2, however, is a stunning portrait with wonderful detail so it gets my vote.

V1 is an excellent inflight capture with great catchlight in the eye, but V2 is a superb portrait with terrific detail and tones and a super dof. Just lovely.
