What a wonderful portrait, Steve, the eye is perfect, and lovely detail. Red Kites have been seen here in North Somerset this year, which bodes well for the future I think. Wonderful birds.

A cracking close up of this majestic bird, the detail and colours in the plumage are exceptional. This bird is a much more common sight now, I even saw a number of them close to the town centre in Wallingford when I visited there for work a few weeks ago
