Twilight

Firstly, thankyou all for you kind words of support. My wife is now feeling somewhat better, again thankyou.
I have still not had much time free, hence a quick upload today, the first for 6 weeks. I will, hopefully, at some point get around to checking out and voting on your lovely photos. Unfortunately my time is very limited still and I haven't even been out with my camera since last November, I will start getting withdrawal symptoms soon.
This Snowy Owl was taken last year at the very end of the day as the sun was setting. I liked the lighting but I'm not sure I got the exposure right, still it was worth a go.
I hope you like him.

Its not often you see owls profile pictures, but this is awsome, some what like a human eye if you squint abit.

For me this is an exceptionally nice image I can not say as to whether or not the exposure is correct or not as I have to go by trial an error (mostly error!!) as to whether or not the exposure is correct - Elizabeth

Really lovely close up Steve wonderful detail like the exposure with a bit more light in front of the bird. I did send a email about your wife but your end was turn off. Gary

The feathers look so soft and fluffy, and the detail is perfect. Such a great profile shot. Delighted to learn your wife is on the mend and likewise to see you back with us again!
