BLUE SECTION RETURN

By SteveMoulding
Another quick upload today from last week's airshow at Shoreham. Despite the weather we did get to see the Battle of Britain display, although many other display's were rained off. I know this isn't the best of photos but I liked it with the canopy open and the prop feathered. I will be interested to here any comments on these latest uploads that help to improve my technique.
Enjoy the bank holiday weekend.
Steve.

Again I would like to thank ChristineD and EAS for their UA's on my Wildcat upload, belated grateful thanks to them.

Wonderful image, Steve, I love the way the prop is 'frozen' in mid flight. Wonderful old-timer.

Top shot Steve, cant offer any advice but this looks spot on to me, smack in focus with feathered prop' well done, one came burbling over the house a week or so go that RR Merlin engine gets everybody looking skyward..

The only comment that I would care to make about this outstanding shot is that perhaps a fractionally slower shutter speed would help to blur the prop a tad more. I hope you will excuse what appears to be nit picking but I think it would help the overall effect of speed and flight.
Just a personal view and in no way a criticism of this lovely capture.

Thanks Ron, I kept trying different speeds to get the right effect with various aircraft but with the varying lighting conditions and capturing the moment it didn't always work.
