Goldhill Shaftsbury

By SteveMoulding
I need to try my hand at other subjects rather than wildlife constantly, although that is my passion. So I thought over the next few uploads I would do something different each time. I will be out of my comfort zone by a long way and hope I produce something you like, so all comments good or bad are welcome and would be helpful to develop my weak areas. The first is landscape and on a recent drive through Dorset we stopped at Shaftsbury to look at Goldhill, famous for the old Hovis advert and a few parodies from Ronnie Barker. My images don't do justice to the beauty of the place but I hope they aren't too bad.
Thanks for all the C&C's on my uploads every one is very much appreciated.
Have a good week everyone.
Steve.
ps. I hope, if the weather's fine, to go to the WWT at Arundel tomorrow (Thursday), so if you are around say hi.

Good grief, I would neither like to walk up and park a car on this incredibly steep hill, 2 superb shots.
It's got me thinking about how they cope on icy or snowy days.

Two lovely images, but V1 does it for me as there is more detail in the distance.
