Great manipulation of two nice images
Can't suggest any obvious area of improvement! You've done a grand job with the images you had available!

This is a great composite Steve, and well composed.
My immediate observation is the reflection in the eye of the owl, whilst looking away from the obvious light source - a minor point, but worth considering.
My other thought is that if the owl is well focused and detailed(as it is), the moon might look more natural if it was slightly out of focus.
I am distracted too much by the detail in the moon surface, and feel that should be more secondary interest.

Good advise from Andrew you need to create distance between the owl & moon - individually both shots are sharp & beautiful but your focus should primarily be on the owl - good work though and I like the idea very much - Ina
