Westminster Cathedral

By SteveNZ
Just bought Adobe Lightroom 4. Still learning but helped to bring some life into this photo that I gave up for dead a few months ago.

LR4 isn't easily mastered! Long way to go yet.

Hi, Steve-- A fine image, I think you'll enjoy working with it in Lightroom--I have been using it for about a year, like its capabilities very much, prefer it to Photoshop for ease-of-use. Best wishes!

Its amazing how much the right processing can breathe life into an image, especially if you shoot raw and havent used the in-camera colour functions. Its easy to dismiss a raw shot as dull, so I usually at least try an auto tone on them to see their potential. Just like a decent lab could make the world of difference when printing film.

Love the warm tones on the floor in this

Great work Steve I have just started with LR so have a long way to get to this standard well done. Lots of trial and error on the way.

I found LR quite confusing to start with. But persevere and practice, and you'll soon grow to love it Smile
Cheers -- Steve
