Tracks Leith

By stevesloan
Image taken at dawn in Leith as the sun lit this particular area of cobblestone.

It isn't toned in any way this was the colour of a wet but bright morning.

It was taken with another " junk" lens, I wanted to try a 200mmm prime for DoF experimentation and this lens is a Nikon F4 in distressed and thus "less than 30 pounds" category mounted with a converter on a Canon Eos 5 D11. I love the contrast. Steve

General note .....just seen the recording data, it is nonsense!.......not sure how that happened, I'll check the settings on the camera, it has just come back from a repair. It was a 200 mm F4 taken at 8.15 am!

This is a great abstract.
Well observed, wonderful tones.
Didn't realise you lived up this way.
We enjoyed a lovely day in Leith recently.
