Yes - I'd say it's an improvement. If I was picky I'd say compose it with the bird a tiny bit more to the RHS, but that's just my personal preference.

I loved it the first time and I love it this time too...I would be tempted to do the cropping Ian has suggested too but still a superb example either way.
The lighting and colours are superb here. Great work. One to be proud of.

I like it!...and much prefer this composition, rather than the bird centered in the middle of a square, colour and background spot on!

I liked the first one, Steve, and I like this one too. I can't honestly say that I prefer one over the other - they're both cracking pics!

I much prefer the composition in this Steve to the previous shot.The changes were well worth it, and a well deserved HC in return.
