Yep, prefer this version (allthough b&w was fine with me). And those boots make those legs look pretty irresistable ;o)

sorry prefer the b and w version as the far woman on the l has a great expression on her face as she is looking at the woman.

I prefer this crop and composition, but would perhaps like it better in BW. No pleasing some people eh?

Might be worth removing the bike too, although this won't be that easy to do??

still love the photo, but prefer the crop and black and white of the previous one. erin

Super little cameo of every day life - love the way the vibrant young lady is striding out whilst the more senior ladies are sat wathching the world go by. Very nice. PhilG

I prefer the B/W......the colour (and the boots) are too distracting and the 3rd woman in the back was quite an important factor

I was in Italy too last week. The country is full of models! I think this is a good reflection of a candid street scene in Italy. John

Personallly I prefer the B&W, although I do think the pic is better without the third woman in the BG. Funnily enough, I hadn't noticed the pigeon through her legs in the B&W version, but it jumps out at me here. It would be simple to clone out.

PS - congrats on the HC

Your reworking of this has made it a better shot I think though I still like the previous version.

Thanks for comments - thanks for the HC Pete - much appreciated.
Jim (old timer) - you're SO correct about the pigeon (in my defence I edited this on my laptop on the train on the way to London yesterday)
John (tenerifejohn) I know what you mean about Italy, certainly Lucca seems to be full of unbelievably attractive women!

Yes, this one works better. You could clone out various distractions but I can see why Pete would give it an HC. It makes you think about time passing. I wonder what the ladies were thinking?

Enjoyed the original but this is a stronger composition. Nick.

Actually I dunno: this is good, but for me it loses the background story of the women thinking about time passing - especially, as Dorcas says, because the cloned out woman in particular has a great expression. No, you can't please all the people can you?
