As the thaw is now setting in, I thought you might like reminding what snow looks like again.
Taken on Saturday afternoon on Peddars Way.
I was sheltered from a biting easterly wind by the hedge on the left, but on the other side of that there were drifts of nearly two feet.
There had been snow showers all afternoon and a fairly bland sky for the most part, but the clouds parted a little as the sun began to set giving some colour at long last.
