  • A Coastal Lament

A beautifully balanced image. It's difficult to get interest in both sides of a coastal shot as one side is usually just sea and the other cliffs, but you have chosen to shoot where there are features on both sides, with the light, sky and cloud formations helping you here also. Lovely.

Well I personally think that's better than a sunset shot, I can't put my finger on why but this image just oozes the 'atmosphere' of Wasdale to me. Love the light on Yewbarrow and the feeling it could be pouring with rain in ten minutes.

I am in no way an expert in wildlife photography and only dabble in it really, but I don't see how it can get any better than this. I am literally astounded at your image and can only marvel at the patience and resolve it took you to obtain it. Congratulations on a superb image.

  • Old Hartley Colour

Nice shot, only downside for me is that my eye keeps getting drawn to the upper right area where the headland is.Cropping it out wouldn't work either so I would try and tone it down a shade, maybe to a silhouette.Lovely sky though.Smile

Don't think that's Grasmere, and it's definitely not 'Grasmere Water' Grin Colours seem a little odd also, though that could be intentional.

Glad to see something a little bit different of St Mary's ,I think the blue tone makes this image work well.Nice foreground and balance.
