I am in no way an expert in wildlife photography and only dabble in it really, but I don't see how it can get any better than this. I am literally astounded at your image and can only marvel at the patience and resolve it took you to obtain it. Congratulations on a superb image.

Old Hartley Colour

Old Hartley Colour by leesummerson

Nice shot, only downside for me is that my eye keeps getting drawn to the upper right area where the headland is.Cropping it out wouldn't work either so I would try and tone it down a shade, maybe to a silhouette.Lovely sky though.Smile

Don't think that's Grasmere, and it's definitely not 'Grasmere Water' Grin Colours seem a little odd also, though that could be intentional.

Glad to see something a little bit different of St Mary's ,I think the blue tone makes this image work well.Nice foreground and balance.

Really nice, being slightly pick I would have preferred a bit more room for the steam at the top of the image, but still excellent though.

Looks like Yewbarrow in the centre which would make it Wast Water.Nice shot as well a bit different from the usual images one gets of Wast Water.

Another WOW! from me,very dramatic, captures the essence of stormy waves perfectly.

Langdale Pikes

Nice, but that's 'The Band' with Crinkle Crags and Bowfell in the background. The pikes are just to the right of this shot.

Emergence

Emergence by almiles

Lovely image ever so slightly spoilt by the patch of grass bottom right which I find slightly distracting.Nothing you could do about it really though!!

Battering Ram!

Love that, very dramatic shot.Nice light and timing of the capture.

Having tried and failed to get something similar at the Sunderland air show last month I think this is an excellent shot, good timing and exposure.

Lovely image, prefer just the top part in a square format for my own tastes though.BTW what would you have done if you tripod foot had moved?GrinWink

And of course perpetuate this suffering, even in a small way, by visiting these places.
