Hi there! This is a very nice still; it has a relaxing feel to it, as well as an air of reverence, as it seems to be a memorial. If you can recreate the shot, try getting a little closer, so that the words in the frame can be easily read, and also angle to camera upwards a bit, so as to get less window sill, and more background through the window.

Hi there! I really like the 1st image, and think it is the best of the 4, even with the crop. In fact, the crop brings the flowerettes much closer, and causes the eye to zoom there immediately. The other view of the same image doesn't pull me in as quickly, or as fully, as v1. I think the crop could be your friend after all! I think v1, blown up onto a large canvas, would be stunning on a wall!

I have to agree with your thought on v2. The petals are a bit orange-y, but not overly so.

Awwwh, Mary, thank you so much! I am so glad that you can smell it, lol. I had a head injury in 2006 (fell getting out of the shower) and lost almost all my taste and smell. Alas, I can barely smell the most fragrant of roses now, which just sucks, to put it bluntly. But, then, I can't smell a skunk, either, so I suppose it all evens out!
