Buller River

By stoked2
We were in the St Arnaud region, walking along beside the source of the Buller River where it comes out of Lake Rotoiti, a cold and deep glacial lake.
A bit of weather was beginning to gust up, with snow flurries and cold wind, so we hurried the toddlers along, stopping only to peek out of the dense native bush at the fast water racing past.
This shot was with a fairly slow exposure to catch some of the water's movement.
