A working Clumber spaniel competing in a field trial.

This was taken in quite difficult lighting conditions under the tree cover with strong morning sunlight pouring through in patches making metering quite a problem, especially with predominately white dogs.

you could have gone a tad less exposure and still worked I think - however I'd prefer a more OOF background to make him stand out.

Clumbers are really gorgeous arn't they? I haven't seen many around for a long time.
