I like the simplicity of this one. Nice shot Sheila.

Lots of banding in the sky, very soft, and I think your horizon needs straightening. This is meant as constructive criticism, hope you take it as such. Wink

The Upload Gremlins have been at this, but I do like this. I might have cropped it down to two posts each side and kept the height, but it's still a worthy click.

Thanks for the comments. The original is much clearer. Perhaps I should stick to photographing hills - then no worries about straight horizons!!! Wink
I see what you mean about cropping it Keith, but I rather like the unbalanced appearance.

Good composition and the layers of colour work well in this shot. Fine work.

I like this one Sheila, you have an excellent eye for images. Just a tip you may find useful. If you straightened the horizon now, the posts would all go out of kilter, so that's not ideal. Best to select a broad band across the horizon, feather it to avoid a sharp line, copy it, then then paste it back on the image it will go on a new layer then, but afterwards using, edit/free transform, level the horizon and flatten your every timeSmile

Thank you Doug, Lucie and Leo. Leo - I'll try that thanks. I'm a complete novice at any sort of photo manipulation so it could all go drastically wrong and the Gulf emptying!!!

Simple but very effective composition, the child adds a lot to the scene.
Well done

A simple but very effective composition with the child adding that extra touch.
