Evening Barn Owl

A photo taken from a recent trip to the MWFC. It was late in the afternoon, @5pm from memory on a very nice evening and this was a shot of the bird taken in the evening light.

I tried to meter for its face feathers, so that there is no burn out and I think it adds to the atmosphere.

Thanks to Cheryl for organising etc.

As ever thoughts and ideas welcomed. And yes I did clone out the leg ring etc.

I think you got the metering just right and the contrast of light and shadow works well.

very very nice the owl looks great for metering his/her face gives a really good feel to the image.
