The Wall

By strawman
An attempt at playing with textures. this is my youngest playing his guitar in his bedroom with an overlay of his guitar.

Its new for me and a change to play with people photography, something I should do more of. I would value honest it works or does not work thoughts or ways to experiment/improve it

Its the 1st photo I have taken of him he approves of, so in its own way its already had some approval.

A very clever and well-executed image.

i like it, at first glance i didn't realise it was an overlay on the wall, thought it was in a club or something lol
only thing i would do differently is just take the overlay off your son himself, as i think that might look better Smile

so 'up' for a good shot & experimentation

Thanks for the feedback, I was not certain how to play with the overlay, but on reflection I think you are correct. Interestingly it won a local contest for me. Smile

Great image - I like the way you've composed the elements within the frame.
