If I was forced to give it a crit, all I would say is the water needs a contrast and sat boost to finish the shot off, I just feel the lower half of the image should be darker.

dunno, I like it as is, its certainly dramatic, darkening the bottom may make it look like 2 shots, I guess its to taste isnt it,? is the horizon spot on?

Keeping the detail in the rocks and the reflection to me is excellent
and like it as it stands. From where i sit the horizon is ok
but would need to see a larger image to be sure
Good work

The colours are awesome and the processing spot on.
For me it is just the composition which stops this being a top pro image. A few steps to the left would have made the wee bit of rock on the left almost vertical in the frame and pointing straight to Arran, leading the eye there. This would also probably have taken out the bit of rock in the bottom right corner which is not needed and actually takes the eye out of shot.
Small points but since you want crit.....

All the best

Thanks for all the crit. Some really good things to think of.
I have another similar shot taken not long after this that I'll post too as I couldn't decide which one I liked best.

Excellent image in my book. If anything I would agree with Steve Crown's comment

Not really if it's done ok. The water absorbs some of the light making it around a stop darker than the sky. The water in this looks too light for that to have happened. Smile

It would be very easy to darken the water a touch. I think I will have a play with that and see how it looks.
