  • They dont make cars like this anymore

I see these at the rallies each summer, and I certainly wouldn't mind having one for the shows. There's enough metal in that one to build a fleet of today's cars.Smile

  • Painted Lady.

Those butterflies go through a cycle here, I think it's every 4 years we get them, very nicely done. I had that lens years ago, used it on a Canon 40D, it was my fav at the time.

  • Bittern Feathers

One of my favourite marsh birds from my teenage years; we would walk to our old fishing hole and almost always scare one of these to wing, and the sounds they make are so unique. For camo they stick their head up and sway with the grasses and reeds, something to watch. Good job.

I love the detail in the animals fur, and the tones in the colours. Hard to give you an idea of whether it matches what you see or not, and I hesitate to recommend a monitor, I never pay over $150 for mine. The sharpness in the horns stands out, with a background that compliments the subject.

These little birds never seem to stop for a moment, like a Scotsman in front of a pay toilet, you did well to get a nice detailed shot.

  • Look up for Icicle`s

I like this Walt. Out where I go hunting mountain bluebirds there's a ranch with an old log 2-story house left as it was years ago next door to a much more modern home. I've taken shots from the road, but I've been reluctant to ask them if I can get closer. I was out shooting birds one day, standing on the side of the road, and the old lady came up in a cloud of dust and smoke on a quad, cigarette dangling from her mouth, and asked me if I knew anything about herding cattle. I said no mam, and she said, eh? She was hard of hearing, and I shouted, no! She said, what are you good for then, and took of in another cloud of dust. I might have to do some ranch work in order to get in and take a few shots of the house.Smile I wish I had the gumption to ask these folks to let me take their pictures; the old guy is about 6'4" and his skin is like old cracked leather, and he's about 140 lbs, almost black from the sun.
