    This is a small one, Some of them in our city could be mistaken for wolves they're so big and healthy. The main food supply is Jack Rabbits, ground squirrels in summer, and an abundance of pets, cars and dogs, that people let out for a few minutes at night. Probably the most adaptable animal on earth; when I was flying bush in Labrador in the late sixties, I worked a lot with a young biologist who had just finished his masters , he did his thesis on coyotes, but he had to do it in the west, because there were none in the east. Now they're everywhere.
