Catalina Curves

By Jools_jti
I took this shot just to test out some exif information, but it is a shot I have often looked at while sat in my lounge, but never taken.

This was meant to be a snap, but I like the shapes and low light, so thought I would share it. May return to it with some specific lighting and time to experiment further.

Just in case it's too dark, it's the head stock of my precious '84 Fender Catalina Black Dreadnought guitar.

Cheers Chris, it was really just a snapshot but from and often observed possibility.

I will look into some different lighting and more prep.

Since I've been researching guitars for about 3 months, I think I qualify as a judge of this shot...outstanding, subtle, understated; I give it a 10 out of 10, and my personal award, and I haven't read the other comments...yet.Wink

Thanks for all the comments and especially the award.

I will definitely going back to this with some proper lights and more time.

Hi Jools, reading your comment above you donít need some proper lights to improve this shot. Itís that magic low lighting you captured here that really makes this picture. Top marks, itís smashing.
