Autumn Colours & Milky Water

Taken in the Peak District, I was hoping to catch the colour of the water as it was a lovely light brown. I was told that this was because of the peat around the area.

Thanks again to everyone that has taken time to look, comment & vote on this as well as my other pictures.

I like the bold composition. Just enough movement in the water too.
However, I'd apply a small curves ajustment to give it some punch as it's on the flat side tonally. A straight conversion to mono will illustrate this. In fact, this would make a good mono image when done with high contrast.

I have uploaded a copy of this that has been re-edited & had a go at playing with the curves. I think I've done it ok but please let me know your opinion.

Ah yes, V2 is much better, more as I would expect to see.
In fact I think you've got it just right (to my eye at leastGrin)
