This is the Fletcher 1100 oval mat cutter, which is described in one of my blogs.
Newly acquired.

I presume it cuts oval mounts for photographs or paintings, in which case I am throughly jealous! Great documentary series.

It does everything Lynne. Single, double and treble mounts, circular or elliptical. Each of these with 'V' groove decorations.
Glass for circular or elliptical frames
A 30" x 24" max ellipse & a 1" min circle.

I've used the Keencut Rondo (equivalent) and there is just no contest.
Though, to be fair, the Rondo is not of the same era.

Both have now been discontinued due to the advent of CMC's.

It does take up a lot of room though ~ it's almost a metre square

I gather from some of your comments on various posts, that you at least mount artwork.
Do you frame too?

Coo I thought at first from the thumbnail that it was a mousetrap Smile Well it looks great . A mounting frame I'd like but don't have the room . Three very explicit images .
