In the 'Fletcher Saga' I concluded that "I could distinctly feel a new lens coming on"

Well I didn't get anew lens.
I got the Fletcher 2100 instead.

I made all of the bits. I returned it to the owner ~ and he gave me the Fletcher in lieu of payment for some other small repair works that I had carried out for him.

I'm pleased with it.
The guy that serviced it certainly knew what he was doing. It's perfect set up and works splendidly. GrinGrin
I'm so delighted with it, I've even put a photo of it in my portfolio.
