Morso F Guillotine

16 Sep 2012 5:13PM   Views : 1370 Unique : 847

My Morso guillotine is for sale in the classified ads, under photographic accessories.

If you frame your own photos - or anyone elses, for that matter - you will know that the first thing anyone looks at when they view a framed piece of artwork (possibly after they've looked at the picture, though not necessarily) is the mitres on the corners of the frame.
The Morso makes these perfectly.
You can't really manage without one. (the guy who says he can produce mitres 'straight off the saw' as good as those produced by a Morso, is living in la-la land.

You can't wear them out. Everything is manual operation, so nothing breaks down.
Blades occasionally need re-sharpening (about 10) and the return springs may need re-adjusting about once every 5 years. That's it. They are utterly unburstable !!

New, they cost about 2000.
Even good second hand, relatively new specimens, are going at the moment for 750 - 900

Mine is also available to view on my website : you'll find the address in my portfolio Grin (links are apparently not allowed) Wink
for a lot less than any of those figures.

Go on. Go and have a look GrinGrin You know you've always hankered after having one. Wink
