Anchor Shackle

By strokebloke

I went to the east coast yesterday and, having some time to kill, visited the lifeboat station.
Outside was, what to me, a total landlubber, an enormous very old ships anchor.
And I thought of you Mick. GrinGrin

I am sure you will appreciate what a fine high quality bit of tensile steel this was when it came out the foundry Jack.
And it would not be Japanese stuff in these days either !!
Good bit of grot.
And nice to see another member swelling the ranks of the RAS !!
Mick.
