Snow looks as if it is getting into its stride, having tried valiantly for the past hour.

I thought I'd try a couple of shots with the flash attached, to highlight the snow flakes.
It appears to have done that, but ......
The light & colours are a decent representation, but the car looks as if it been coated with icing sugar

Any thoughts, observations will, as always, be very welcome

I rather like this, v1 at least. V1 is compositionally very much better than v2. This is made by the flash and snow, otherwise it would be an ordinary shot of a residential street like thousands of others. Well done.

Good one, technique works very well. I too prefer V1

I like it jack, and an interesting technique thats worked well. The flash has "frozen" the flakes very nicely.

Good morning Willie (it is here anyway - the snowfall didn't last) Smile
Thanks, to Paul & Ian too, for similar encouragement.

If the opportunity arises again, I will experiment with some neg comp on the flash
