A gorgeous image - you did well to capture this, I remember the walkway is quite high up over the otters. Did you bend down and see their little noses pressed against the fence (under the walkways) when it was feed time - it's quite funny to see them all!!

I took this from the side where the benches were there to stand on. I also went under the bridge to see the one underwater- he was such a show-off! I saw the adults and the young ones get fed. The little ones were sooo cute but they made some very violent faces when destroying their meal.

Though having had another look at the quality, it looks as though you could have perhaps cropped the otter down slightly more, the reason i say this is that on the right hand side of the otter, the coat is slightly out of focus/blurred, this is my perspective on you well timed shot, i realise that the shot is a portait of the otter, but too me, the right hand side attracts my eye.
Other than that i think it is still a good shot.

Thankyou for your comment which i have marked as constructive critisism. The reason for this is i focused mainly on the otter's head, if his tail was in focus his wiskers would not be so clear and the reason the photo was taken this way was to draw the veiwer to the otter's head. I could have taken this picture on A-Dep setting which would have allowed the whole picture to be in focus. All down to personal preference, thanks for the advice
