I have been teaching myself photography on and off for about two years now. My photos have come along loads in that time – well they couldn’t really get much worse, but looking at all your photos I see I still have a long way to go. This site (with its shots that I can only aspire to at the moment) has given me the inspiration to get back into the swing of things and I’m learning lots and loving every minute of it!

I don’t find much time to get out to take sweeping panoramic views (family and work commitments have to come first) but I do manage to get some practice with my favourite types of shots - the kids and close up pics of flowers and nature.

My thanks to everyone who has commented or clicked on my photos,and especially to those who have given me some great advice! Please keep those comments coming!!
