A memorable landscape. The mist and light are lovely.

The red granite rocks make an interesting f/g and doesn't that band of cloud below the summit and the sunlight on the upper slopes make your shot just that bit different to all others?
No matter how often you go back, conditions, colours and light will always be different.

As Ronnie says, the band of cloud and the sunlight make this really special. Lovely shot Sue - well composed!
I agree with all of the above and then some, cracking shot well captured.

Wonderful sky and light on the upper slopes. I was there the previous morning but the sky was clear.
Nice to meet you both on the Friday.

I couldn't decide whether to comment or vote on this yesterday - it did look decidedly too light, especially at the bottom.

There's still only one version visible today, but (having saved overnight and refreshed this morning) there's a distinct change.

I think I'd still prefer to see more guts in the rocks - soem really dark shades - but the overall look and delicacy, the quality of hte light, and the clouds make it well worth a vote!

This is beautiful, Sue! Wonderful tones and textures in the foreground rocks which lead the eye through towards the tree, then beyond to the superb light catching the top of the mountain. A beautiful sky, too, and perfectly timed to get the cloud floating past the mountain Smile Just has to have my UA...Wink
