River Ba

By Sue_R
Kicking ourselves for not getting up early today as the weather was beautiful, but we decided against when we saw the forecast was for rain and by the time we discovered the forecasters had got it wrong again it was too late to go very far afield Sad Oh well, maybe we'll have better luck tomorrow.

This image of the River Ba at Glencoe was taken in January of last year. Black Mount can be seen in the bg.

Many thanks to those of you who have taken the time to vote and comment on my recent uploads and hope you're all having a good weekend Smile

If you don't go you'll never know. That's why I travel so many miles every year sadly. This is the spot I used to lve but for a year it was off limits with the road builders working on the new bridge. I think this was the day we met up here? That must mean that the new 4x4 is a year old already.
Nice work here Sue, the blue reflected in the river makes it for me, plus the natural looking water.

Take care out there Sue,
Dougie

Gorgeous, Sue! Great composition and it is wonderful to see blue water instead of ice. Your winter pictures were gorgeous but I felt sorry for you with all the snow!

Dougie, yes, this is the day we bumped into you while down that way. And you're probably right about going out anyway and hoping for good weather, but it's difficult to waste a day off and a tank of diesel travelling for nothing so we tend to only go if there's some hope it could be worthwhile. Really wishing we'd gone out with the cameras yesterday though as it's dull, grey and raining here today Sad

Very beautiful composition and capture, Sue, always a pleasure to see these stunning Scottish landscapes - and you present them so well Smile Shame the weather forecast let you down yesterday, but there's always another day.
